On the Hunt Family Style
Even the most dedicated hunter has to change strategies every once in a while. Take 4th of July. This is known as “Family Week’ in my household where we are now hosting five adults plus four nieces and one nephew, ranging in age from 20 to 8. We’re actually minus one niece this year, having lost her to summer camp – but we’ve created a sort of summer camp of our own!
There are morning crafts, lots of time spent at the beach and/or pool, tons of sandwiches and chips, Mexican Night and dinner on the beach. Plus SO many more activities and memories made!
What makes this “summer camp” even more special is we DO still make some time for yard sales. This week alone my brother and sister-in-law bought the oil painting below, my brother-in-law purchased a vintage scale, my mom picked up the book “Twins” and one of the kids even got into the act by buying goggles.Photography by Way2Finds.com. Summer is a wonderful time for being with family but also for going “on the hunt” with one and all. Everyone will enjoy the ride!
